question on disc on conversion

in the middle of having someone replace my drum brakes to disc on a 96 rs. I have a question though, i have read the write ups plenty of times enough to know step by step what to do but ended up pawning it off, he tells me i need a steering knuckle to connect the hub rotor and caliper, shouldn't it already be there? Looking at the write up on a 98 rs nothing is mentioned about needing that part, i was wondering if it changes between years?

its the same part , on drums and discs , and you can re-use the wheel bearings too!

Yeah everything should be there if you got the disc breaks. I would replace some bushings while you're in there.

sweet thanks guys, wait so there should be no reason why the caliper isn't lining up is there?
