Question about wires

I have a question about spark plug wires. I am not sure how old the ones on my car are. I dont see arcing or anything, but I have a funny miss at idle and sometimes once in a while if i floor it it will shudder. Sometimes bucks at lower deaceleration rpms. I've been thru about everything else (vac leaks etc), i just want to know this one thing... Can spark plug wires be bad w/o any telltale signs to find? heh. thanks.

sounds like your plugs or wires to me....just pull the wire off the plug and check the boots for any rips, rust or moisture.
