question about turbo differences

16g flows more.. PSI is just a measure of pressure. Pressure is only half of the picture. At the same pressure the 16g flows more air. Which is the most important.

The 16g flows more lbs/min (pounds/minute). That is why a 50 trim at 25 psi will make less power then a 35r at the same psi. That is also why a stock bottom end can handle more psi from a 16g then it can from a 42r. You wouldn't run 30psi with a 42r on stock bottom end would you. A lot of people do it with a 50 trim or smaller though because they flow less air so they aren't putting as much strain on the car.

16g spools faster..did you notice that you build full boost at 3200 rpm compared to t25 which i think builds full boost at 4300-4500 rpm. Thats Why.

WRONG. Please don't post unless you are positive about what you say.

What I said is the reason it pulls harder. And the t25 spools faster then a 16g will. And there is no set rpm that the turbo will spool at, it will be different with different cars and set ups. If you have a t25 that spools that late something is seriously wrong with your car.

WTF I promise I am not trying to single you out and pick posts apart. but the 16g does not spool faster than a t25.
