hey guys I'm trying to learn the maf clamp function and read about it in wiki and the only thing that I'm not understanding is when i reach my switchover point ((SWITCHOVER 2400HZ I SET TO)) what do i adjust to control my air reading

Lets say at WOT 2500 mafraw my WB is 10.7AFR and my AFRest is 11.1 now do I adjust MY SD VE cell table at that spot or do I adjust maf clamp sliders at that rpm

Also if I don't adjust with maf comp slider from 2400hz on do I zero out my maf comp sliders from 2400 mafraw on

If you're running a MAF, then you adjust the MAF sliders to get your actual AFR to match your estimated, if that's what you are aiming for. The clamp function is for when you are overrunning your MAF. When MAF clamp is activated, the ECU will extrapolate airflow above your clamp point (say 2200hz) based mainly on RPM. If your MAF can keep up with the airflow without breaking up, then you can uncheck the MAF clamp function altogether.

I understand the maf clamp idea but what I'm not sure off is when i hint my switchover point what do I adjust to get actual AFR to match estimated

Do I still adjust my maf comp sliders or does my maf clamp do it for me based on rpm

the reason I have maf clamp checked is my mafraw gets real choppy in the high maf HZ
