Hey guys, I was teaching the wife how to drive a manual tranny car, needless to say she got up onto a curb and my old front mount now has a huge leak, same with some of the piping on the drivers side. Since I'm on a budget because of a new born I ordered this 2.5" FMIC Intercooler Kit+BOV Eclipse Lancer Galant : eBay Motors (item 110424183372 end time Apr-10-10 19:57:57 PDT) off of ebay. I know there will be fitment issues (hopefully not way too many since now some of the piping I had is shot to hell).

Has anyone ever bought or installed one of these intercoolers?

Been there done that. You're going to hate life when you start cutting up intercooler pipes.

Ty guys. I'm hoping for the best, I thought up a few things that I could do to route the pipes. Hopefully they are easy to bend without breaking, specially since I don't have a pipe bender and dont currently have access to one. Luckily I have a few pipes left over from the old IC and those of that black silicone piping that came stock with the car, hopefully that helps a bit. Also I'm hoping the the silicone couplers at Autozone hold if I do indeed need to get some. So many things to go through, but since its my DD it needs to be done.

So I guess it will be cutting all the way... I'll make it work, even if it takes me a while to figure out. I just gotta make sure I measure correctly before I cut anything.

I received the intercooler today (4 days of shipping... Not bad at all) and I have to say it looks like its of good quality. I wont know for sure until I install it and all, but I'm hoping for the best.
