hey guys i have a very big problem,my turbo head got really messed up and they are telling me its gonna cost alot to fix it.i really dont have the time to fix it because i am moving in a month.

my question is.what are the differences between the 90 nt eclipse 2.0 head and the turbo.are the valves or anything different at all?i ask because i still have my non turbo head setting in the garage can i just swap everything to it and it will run fine?thanks guys

the only diffrence is the cams. why is your old head going to cost alot of money to fix? im getting a full rebuild on my head that includes being shaved, 3 angle valve job, and a couple of other things done for less then 200 bucks.

hope that helps
david

see i work in a shop so i can do the three angle valve job and everything my self.

i had to heli coil the number one spark plug and somehow for the first time in my life i got it a little crooked well to fix it they are going to have to weld in the hole the maching and spline a new hole and the only guy in town that can do it wants 500 and he cant do it for 3 months.but i have the non turbo head just taking up room and no one has wanted to buy it so at worst i will have to go a rebuild it and i can do it all myself.

im just glad i diddnt do this on a customers car.thank you very much man you just saved my day

the only difference is the cam lobes right not the part we bolt to the head right.and what about the oil inlet for the turbo is that just plugged?im not home right now so i havent looked.i was mainly worried about the valves being bigger or not.thanks alot.

all the seatings for the cams are the same ,yes. as you said, the lobes are different. There is a plug on the N/T head that comes out for the oil feed line. You just need the banjo bolt to hook it up.

the non turbo head just has a bolt in it instead of the banjo bolt. hook it up like you normally would on your turbo head. alot of peope dont realize that the turbo and non turbo heads are the same and tend not to buy them because they dont know any better. also be sure to keep that bolt, it will become useful if you wanted to run the oil straight from the oil fiter housing.
