I noticed on some sites the Quaife center diff has a discription of this:
"Quaife LSD for Mitsubishi Eclipse/Talon 4x4 93-99(centre) [Not for use in Drag Race applications] Reliability is total; the ATB Helical LSD units are designed using the latest CAD techniques and are CNC machined to ultra-tight tolerances from the very best CORUS steel billets. The completed units are then subject to rigorous in-house inspection on a tri-coordinate measuring machine before being dispatched to the customer."
but then on Quaife's site it says:
"The Mitsubishi Eclipse Talon 4WD centre Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential is proven in circuit and drag racing, rallying and road use, and is produced from Corus steel billets, and is CAD designed and CNC machined, then inspected to ISO 9001 standards."
Is there any reason why I should listen to the other site and not use it for drag racing?
