Python 990 alarm 96 gst

Hey all,
so recently i installed a python 990 alarm system in my 96 gst mitsubhshi eclipse. has remote start, turbo timer, all that jazz. This morning on my way to school i opened my door and it sounded the factory alarm, which is just the horn BEEP BEEP BEEP for like 5 mins and then it just turns off, i can drive the car while the alarm is going off, but i dono how to turn it off. I would like to disarm or disable the stock alarm, i thought i did when i installed my new one but apparently something is not right. Further more, i cannot remote start my car with my 2-way lcd, i cannot even lock unlock with it now...any suggestions? THanks so much!

hook up factory alarm arm and disarm on aftermarket alarm
Heres the factory alarm wires

THey are hooked up correctly. Is it possible there needs to be a bypass module or there is a loose connection?

I only ask of the loose connection b/c prior to today i was unable to unlock my car. It would lock, arm, etc. i would go to unlock and it would show on the pad it was unarmed and the actual alarm was disarmed but the doors would not, there was no power to the relays it seemed. I wiggled some wires around today and hit lock and unlock and it worked fine, but i went to open the door and the factory alarm just so exciting!

Did you hook the lock and unlock wires to the doorlock relay and what kind of tech sheet did you use and yes very possible there is a loose connection

I used sheets i got by googling wiring diagrams for my car and the alarm. Not sure if i hooked the lock and unlock to the relay.

FYI i woudln't have this alarm if i didn't have to. But when i bought this car the key hole in the door doesn't fit the ignition key so someone changed something and not sure how much a locksmith to make the key would cost. The passenger key hole is missing all together

the relay is behind the radio thats what i hooked mine up to its ther relay all the way to the right

there are two seperate keys for your car one for ignition and one for the door 95s have three hatch,ignition,door

All I did was permanently ground the factory disarm wire and I was good to go.

that is also an alternative thats what the aftermarket alarm does also but with the aftermarket alarm it uses the factory alarm and the stock one as well end result if someone breaks into your car the aftermarket siren will sound along with your stock one

what would you recommend i do to get a hold of a door key for my car? go to the mitsubishi dealer? i'm gona go try something out now on my car thnks so much be back in a bit

Mitsubishi dealer or a locksmith they are both going to be kind of pricey but i would call both and get quotes

Theres different tapping points for unlock and lock wires, you have to be VERY CAREFUL, when listening to someone's suggestion on where theirs is, because it will actually depend if they had a factory alarm to begin with. For instance, you can tap lock and unlock behind the radio on the relays there, but if you are setting up unlock priority, it would not work there.

All the online guides ive seen are f-ing incorrect, thats why I made this not too long ago

My alarm is working atm...not sure how must of wiggled some wires right haha. I know that sounds terrible but it's working so i'm happy

I think I have the same alarm. My stock alarm can still be activated if I lock it with the key in the door. To disarm it just unlock the door with the key. But it sounds like you lost the door key?
