PYLE - Which Should I Buy?

a lot of people look down on these brands, It's mostly the audio guru nazis. But hell I'm all for it. I have used no name electronics before and they do as advertised.

I would go for none of them. Check out the ones from BOSS. It has USB, SD, 5 volt preamps for all 4 channels PLUS aux input, AND seperate sub output. For 80-90 bucks. Check out millionbuy.com

I have looked around and it seems to be the best one and cheapest that has all those features. Especially the usb and sd card slot. The no one stuff usually dont have 4 channel preamps AND seperate sub out, but this does. This is my sleeper deck. I plan to get it for my beater GSX. I have an expensive top of the line JVC on my weekend GSX, but that was when I was going all out, but now I go all out with cheap in mind.

If you get it, let us know.

Thanks for the info. Im going to get one of the two which I have asked about in this thread. Im dont need anything for a sub or any amps. Ill let you know how they perform.

... There is a reason people "look down" upon certain brands. Just like how most people here "look down" on ssautochrome parts, or the ebay full turbo/intercooler/gaskets/manifold/wastegate kits.

Pyle has earned its reputation as a pYle of shit. search any of the car audio forums for the name and you will get dozens of stories of parts crapping out, burning, or otherwise not doing what they should.

Also figure that a 1000 watt pyle amp actually puts out about 50 watts at 4 ohms.

I dont' have any knowledge or experience about boss.

** Top 3 brands to stay away from: Lightning audio, Legacy, and Pyle. Like I said, I've never heard of boss, however that probably doesn't bode well for it as a quality brand.

I would recommend that instead of buying the Pyle knockoff of an Alipine headunit, you try and get the real thing off of ebay. Heck, even JVC or kenwood can offer you a good quality, and still cheap solution.

Nah, I had a JVC it sucked, Im kinda hppy it was stolen. I was looking at Kenwood since I also had one of them and I was happy with it. But the new kenwoods dont look good, and they dont have the volume like on a tv remote like they used to. So I decided to go with comething cheap and ugly looking. I dont want it to be stolen again, but if it happens then it wont be a big deal.

well than you should probalby mention that you're going for something "cheap and ugly so that it won't get stolen" in the first post. People might think you actually expect decent quality out of the thing.

The second link looks a lot like the alpine HU's it's trying to copy off of. I'd go with the first one.

My bad, I was just trying to get some quick opinions. Thanks though.

It's nice to know your deck is ready for a full blown 4 channel amp and a seperate mono block because it has all the outputs. The boss is cheaper, and has more features.
It's a better off brand too, LOL that sounds funny.

Also if your not going to use an amp, i strongly suggest you get the MITAH adapter so you can use your stock amp. The stock amp sounds better then ANY deck powering your speakers.
