purple knock wire on safc II

I searched and still can't figure out exactly what the purple wire on the safc II wiring harness connects to on the ECU.

That is the thing to do. You can't use it anyway. :thumb:

Many people try to use it and it gives out MANY different numbers to many different people. It will not ever say the same thing twice.
 
Sorry, didn't check that you were 2G. I assumed you knew that it won't work for 2G, sorry. OMG

You may want to ground out the purple wire to keep it from picking up noise (EMI/RFI) while you're driving - otherwise, you may get phantom knock on the SAFC even without it hooked up (not that it would matter, but it's annoying).
 
hello, I'm picking up 200+ knock at high throttle on my safc2. How do you ground the purple wire? I tapped into pin 9 on ecu. thanks.
