pulley noises

Ok so i tried to find this myself but couldn't. my pulley system makes a cliking noise just when ever the motor is running it makes the engine sound kinda pathetic. is that normal or is something going on with them?

Remove all accessory belts. If clicking still there it's most likely the timing belt tensioner pulley or idler pulley. It also could be the harmonic balancer has separated. If clicking not there install accessory belts one at a time to see which it is.
