puff of smoke from turbo

today when i started my car my friends noticed a little puff of smoke come from the turbo , so i told him to start it again and i took a look at it and yes there it was a little puff of somke ....could it me oil burning off or is the turbo almost going ??

turbo cars in general use up more oil than normal cars because of the turbo, i know that my car does that sometimes, i'm not sure when i start the car up, when me and my friend were drivin a long one day and i punched it to WOT and he noticed black smoke comin out of the tailpipe for a couple seconds.

theres no smoke from the tail pipe just when i start my car and puff comes from under the hood where the turbos at

do u idle ur car after u use the turbo?

ya i let it sit for about 1min or so depending on how hard i drive ....but i think thats what my prob is im not letting it idle enough
