This is strange I have my MBC set to 15PSI but here is the problem when I hit the gas full throttle the psi shoots up to 15 but after a few seconds its start going down am not suffering any power loss but the pounds just drop I did a boost leak and everything seems to be ok, it dont sputter or anything just drops any help is appreciated thank you guys

I have a Greddy style BOV

Can you get us a pic? If it's like the Greddy Type-S, then you will have a tiny metal port that creates the loud noise when it blows off. It is maybe an inch long and sticks out the back. The bigger hole that extends on the back also, is where you need to hook up you boost/vaccuum line. If it's not hooked up, it won't act right. As for the smaller one, it's just the "noise-maker."

it is the Greddy Type-s so I mine should be connected correctly since is the small port that is not connected the other one is connected to the intake manifold.

That is correct. I'm not for sure then, unless your internals of the BOV are shot. :\

I adjusted the BOV , and raised the boost a bit and is working fine now with no spikes at all. I thought it was set to 15 but it was actually 10 so I raised it to 14 now and it works great now. New discovery know my BOV used to sound real loud in between shifts but now it wont make any sounds at high boost or RPM's. why is that I adjusted to both ways and nothing and it used to sound loud as hell even in high rpm's and boost.

You must be referring to the "Hard" and "Soft" adjustment screw. Well, you pretty much have to loosen the little nut on the BOV and adjust the screw to either be "harder" or "softer". It sounds that you adjusted it to be softer because you cannot here it blowing off.

You need to work your way back towards the "harder" adjustment, until your car isn't running the way you want it, then take it back a notch or two until it picks back up. Once you do that, it should be running right, and you will hear it blow off.

HA simple fix you guys know what it was the damn MBC was backward I found that out today since I was raising the boost to test something and notice that no matter how much I would raise it it will not go past 13/14PSI and all the air that the BOV was suppose to release was released on the MBC since is not the ball and spring type one. I flipped it around and test drove it and the boost shot right up to 18, I pulled over and lowered it to 15 and everything is working fine I got some compression surge at first but adjusted the BOV and everything is working like a champ ;) Thanks a lot everyone for your advises keep it up I appreciate all of your help:dsm::talon::laser::thumb:
