Pros/Cons: 19C VS Super 20G

I have a 19C in my 99 GS-t and I love it. I can hit full boost at around 3400rpm and it pulls hard up to red line(great topend). The key to getting the power out of it is having the right supporting mods. A large FMIC is a must, plus turbo back exhuast plus injectors and fuel controll. I'm tired of people bashing this turbo I even read the post saying it was about the same as a normal 16G. I have a friend with a 91 TSI 16G and I run away from him a roll a chase him down from a stop and this is with my Automatic vs his 5 speed. He always tell me the if i ever decide to upgrade again he wants my 19C. My only dyno run was one day after I had the Turbo, FMIC, AFC, and Injectors installed I got a 276 at 14 psi on my then stock auto tranny.

My tdo6 20g clipped 15 degrees with a 7cm housing gets full boost at 3400 rpm. Everyone and their brother goes fast on the BR20G, while the S20G requires sponsorship to achieve anything amazing. Terrible design. Remember people with Red's use 7cm's and dyno 500 whp. The 7cm housing has a good design and flows very well for its nozzle area while still maintaining spool, Id never use anything else!

How the hell did I bash the turbo? Why can't you people read. Being comparable to a 16G is a good thing. The 16G is a great turbo. I speak from comparison. I ran 12.4@111 and my friends runs 12.8@109. Comparable numbers I'd say. In fact, the guy who has the 19C originally had a 16G and put that on his 2G so the 19C could go on his 1G. Well he since sold the 2G but always says he wishes he kept the 16G.
