projector hids

i have halo projector lights on my 95 gst and wanted to know if anyone has bought a kit for hids in the projectors that work well and are good quality . also what brightness i was thinking 8k for a blue tint or would that be too bright.

i have halo lights in my car and they are hids 8k... im not sure where they got them (were in when i got the car) but they are pretty bright but ive been pulled over a few times and never a word said about my lights being too bright...

I've been running Aline Hid's in projectors in my 2g for years and they have never broken and work very good. I have them in my other car too. They are only about $50. Here is where to get them. HID | Xenon HID | HID Conversion Kit | Wholesale HID KIT | HID Wholesaler Also the temp of the bulb doesn't effect the brightness, only the color. The brightness will be the same no matter what bulb temp. I would suggest 6k or 8k.

HID Color Temperatures Comparison for HID Headlight, Xenon Hid Bulb & Conversion Kit. Not the seem like a dick, and contradict you. However, color does affect light output. the higher the temp, the less the lumens output is... However its small enough that until you extreme temp (e.g. 10,000-12,000) you won't notice it alot.

I have 8k and they look really nice, not that really dark blue but that nice bmw looking blue. Plus it looks really bright compared to the 12k imo.

I am running 12k bulbs in my car right now, and I must say...

They look no where near purple and is more blue than anything

My brother has those in his 3kgt and im really not a fan of them, they seem to be more of a "looks" thing

Ya, definitely what I was after! looks, and I didn't get the color I was hoping for, maybe I will try 14k..

You should check your local laws because here in az anytng above 12k or 13k i believe is a ticket.

Mine are H1 but you should check, mine says it in the front of the headlight under the projector maybe you can try see if yours says anything.
