Project: Plan B (videos in side)

This is my project I'm trying to do with only 10k. I might go alttile over, but in all a fun street car. I'll be doing most the work myself to help keep the budget down with the time I can spare.

The Kiggly clutch kit is for the front clutch, that is the cover to the end clutch kit you keep moving.

To install the Kiggly 5 Friction Kit, you have to remove the pump and pull the front basket out.

You know your right Thank you. Looks like I have my work cut out for me then.LOL Seems I'm going to need a pump gasket aswell. No worries that's what this is all aboutLOL

Not sure who told you to use those teeth to separate it but it is easier to use a rubber mallet to hit the end of the shaft which will spate it with ease. My experience is it takes a little persuasion to separate those at first, they few I have separated have all been the same. I would be concerned if I pulled the shaft out and all those parts just fell apart.

Actually your right, but no matter how hard I hit it there was no way it was coming apart. It felt like it was welded together. It took me literally 2 days hitting it with a 3lb hammer to get it apart. Once all the teeth broke all I had was the shaft to hit. The new one I got was like butter no problems at all.

Putting mine together I can pull it together by hand (Still a tight fit) but after its fully seated, I have the smack the end with the mallet to separate. Sounds like you got it figure out! Did you take a look at your rear drum (forward clutch) while it was out? I hear they rarely wear out but mine was one of those rare occasions.

Actually everything in the drum has been replace also with all new clutches and plates. I didn't film everything but I replaced alot of the gaskets and seals. I'm actually really happy I opened it up. It was a good learning experience.

I've been trying to make it out to events this year, but it seems they keep getting rained out or cancelled. And I guess MOD isn't going to happen this year. Looks like I'm having bad luck already this year. Here's a quick video of my day trying to make it to Import Face off 2019.
