My buddy that works at a parts store has a buddy that gave up on his 1G about 3 years ago. I dont know where the build is this min. but I do know that it is apart right now with all new stuff waiting to be put into it. Now his buddy owes him a grand so he's giving the car to him. He has a 5.0 stang that is full race and doesn't care for the 1g. So I told him ill give him a grand (if the car is worth it) and make it into a track/street car.
Now then my goal would be to have the car for auto X and some track time. I would really like to go on my fav track which is road america. BUT I would like to have a car I can take to work some times. You know to distroy anything I come across. Im looking more for quick spool on the track (duh) but I would like to turn the boost up on the street. I dont really care for hp. More torque and torque courve. And no I am not stroking the engine. I might go with the 2.1 but thats far down the road.
I most likely will be running e85 with dsm link v3 lite, but not sure on the turbo. I am kinda sick of the 16g but it works just so very well
maybe the sleeper 16g. Again not sure. Any input would be awesome.
