how did you secure your shift boot to the shift knob? I just installed a new Razo RA96 and the shift boot doesnt stay all the way at the top, I was gonna superglue it, but what did you use?
We just made the shift boot knob...
I took out the stock, wrapped the gear shift in foam, and stretched the extra vinyl to the original screw holes on the bottom...
hope that helps give you an idea...

I send you 4 more pics to your personal email you listed...
anyway.. I took the seats out.
I think its too hard to color match the back seats with aftermarket racing seats.... So .. This gives our car a nice custom look.
I would help you do it, but it wouldnt be worthwhile, as shipping is too costly, plus I modified my rear plastic pieces so its not tubbed, but flush..
So my template wouldnt work well for ya..
If you are local, then Yeah dood, Ill help ya out.

yikes.. i think i commented wen u first posted pics of ur project in progress.. i still dont like the color scheme.. and personally not something i would ever do on my car.. but i have to give u props on ur work.. the fact that u did it urself.. and though i still dont like ur taste.. looks professionally done.. i give u props.. good work..

I dont want to give anyone the wrong impression.. but I dont mind if people dont like the colors etc..
I like seeing pics of what people in this forum have done with their cars..
I came up with my own ideas, and enjoy showing you guys how my car turned out..
I dont want anyone to argue, or be mad...

but what i do wonder is, you know how PS2 turns on and off from the BACK. if you glass it in say your glovebox or something, how the hell do you turn it on?

you could do the ac/dc convertor trick that DaBirdtsiawd was talking about, or you can buy a kit that some people make that you can turn your ps2 on/off fromt he front.

Tubbed, and flushes... I have no clue what u mean by that LOL.

Can you send me a shot from the front, with the front seats folded and, a straight on shot of the whole area, where the back seats used to be? What kind of wood did you use? I'd like to use, super lightweight wood, no sense addind dead weight. Also, do you think putting black carpet over it is possible?

As for mounting your PS2, open the glove box, remove the stops, and take it out. Cut the back piece of the glove box out. Your PS2 will fit in there just great. I ran my controller wire up through my middle cnsole and left the controller in the center console. Looks great and works great....

by the way the ps2 looks much better under the seat....passenger....takes a bit of modifying but its really easy...i have mine there and you can stil change the disk and all....controlle rint he glovebox

I'd like to do that..where are the stops for the glovebox and how do you remove them??

When you open the glove box, there are 2 black clips, one on each side. Thet just pop out. Then the glove box will drop the whole way down and you can get to the bolts holding the glove box on. Remove them and the whole glovebox comes out. Takes a little cutting and fitting, but it works out real nice. The only thing is getting those clips back in can be a pain in the a$$.

now what would be really cool is to get the network adapter and some sort of wireless modem :)

Whoa! Nice work bro, that looks nice. Obviously a TON of work went into it. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it. I totally respect anything done yourself w/o paying some shop to do it.

This is totally non-related, but what color are your tantraums? I'm getting tired of my silver wheels and am thinking about going to a dark grey or somthing simular.

Again HUGE :thumb: Don't worry about all the neg comments on your choice of colors. I doubt you could please everyone. You coulda gone black/silver and I'm sure someone woulda said, "props, but not the colors I'd choose....."

Hey dood,..
thx for the nice writeup...
as for the tantrums.. those are gunmetal.. Altho.. they look identical to konig, they are actually made by excel.
They seemed to look just a lil bit better on our model eclipse ...
anyway, highly recommend them.. Excel Mr-7. 18.7.5"
