Profec B-II and TT housing. *pics*

Ive seen a few members who have thier profec ebc and greddy tt mounted underneath the radio. I liked the way that looked better than just taped to the steering column or next to the kick panel, so i decided to build one of my own.

I built a frame out of foamcore, then layed 2 layers of fiberglass over it. I cut out rough openings for the profec and tt. I coverd the faces of them in masking tape and placed them in position. I then proceeded to cover it in 2 thin layers of bondo. I cracked the profec/TT out of the respective holes, did some fine trimming with the dremel, and sanded it down a bit. It still needs more bondo and some spotting putty, but here is how it sits now. Unfortunatly i don't have any other in progress pics.

More pics tomorrow, hopefully in primer and perhaps in color too.

The links for the pics are not working. Do you have any others. I'm interested in seeing what it looks like due to mine is under the radio like you mentioned and it is a PITA to try to set your boost and keep an eye on it in front of the shifter.

check out my other thread, there are pics there you can see it in. Its pretty crappy though. I made it too big, so the trim scratched it up when i was installing everything, the faceplate hits in when it flips out.

Not completely custom but I did something similar. I modified a din unit for an Audi and put that under my radio. Holds one 52mm gauge and two 1/4 din devices. I threw some pics up in my gallery if anyone is interested.
