Ok, I think I searched everywhere and went to this site to get the install answer...http://ca.dsm.org/FAQ/2gtt-faq.html. Everything works fine except I can't arm the factory alarm until after the TT shuts off.
If I do the hack per these instructions, I assume I can arm my factory alarm as the TT is running down. This hack tricks the alarm into thinking that the car is off so that it can arm, right?
Does this mean that I can arm my car as I am driving too? The reason I ask is because, I can arm the alarm by using the power door locks as I am leaving the car. With this hack, if I use the power locks while I'm driving, the alarm will arm? Is there a way to get the factory alarm to arm after the TT shuts off? Or is there another way to do this hack?
Sorry lots of questions because I'm new at the electrical aspect of this..and if this belongs in the newbie forum I apologize. I did search many of the sites and can't seem to find the answer I want...So why not ask the experts.....
Thanks
