THe fiberglass kit costs about $10-$15, and he said about 30 hours of his time.

There is a how-to in the 'how-to' section...check it out.

then hes rather talented it would seem

Working with fiberglass isn't really as hard as it would seem. You can sand out and bondo any imperfections you get. It;s not too hard, just very time consuming.

my TT is in the glovebox on the lefthand side where the little "pocket" is.
Since I don't need to see them to drive the Profec will go there too.

Thanks guys :thumb:. Ya, working with fiberglass isn't as hard as it would seem. Any imperfections can be corrected with some work. You can really never have an irreversible mistake. I also made another one for somebody for a Profec-B and Greddy TT that went where the ashtray/cupholder are. It was pretty sweet.

Like the other guy said, under 20 bucks. I'd start making crazy shit out of fiberglass, but I don't need anything.

Thats what i did when i first got my car.

Things i hated

- took me about 6 hours to do it
- Was a pain in the ass to mount
- Broke things in the process
- Had to work with heat

Things i like

- The way it looks

It was hard to do, i took a heat gun and bent out the plastic a bit, and basically took the time to mark out where every button and where every display would be. Then i took a dremel with the dremel plastic bit to cut everything out. No fiberglass but looks good

Matt

I wanted to bring this back from the dead... anyone else out there have any relevant pics? I'm looking for some inspiration for my install :)
