I'm rebuilding the engine and therefore ordered in a Eagle h beam single rod. Well; new rod arrived and before reinstalling pin & piston I did a weight- check. The new rod weighs is 583,7 grams with bolts , the old rod was 587,3 grams with bolts.
New Arias pistons and pin weight check also.
1) 342,5 grams. 2) 342,4 grams. 3) 342,6 grams. 4) 342,0 grams.
With best combo, i have this order:
1)assembly (new rod) 1026,0 grams
2)assembly 1029,1 grams - 3,1grams
3)assembly 1029,1 grams -3,1 grams
4)assembly 1029,4 grams - 3,4 grams

So ,I'm thinking to grind the old rods .Opinion about this?
thanks a lot.
