Problem with my car!!!

Im having an anoying problem with my car. Everytime i accelerate away from a stoplight when i press the gas pedal, the car lags and then it accelerates, also sometimes when i drive it the throttle response isnt that good(like when you have the AC on) and other times the car response is excellent, Any idea on what may be causing the problem?

Also related to the EGR valve, Ive checked the metal line going from the EGR to the manifold and it has lots of dust inside. Ive cleaned the manifold and throttle body a couple of times but no luck. Is there a way to bypass or remove the EGR?

Another cause i think is the cat. I have a "2" 1/2 straight back exhaust but i have the stock cat. im hoping for a way to bypass the rear O2 sensor, so i can remove it.

I also want to do something with that pesky PCV valve, i want to remove it or go with another solution.

...any ideas on what may be happening?

Recommended tune ups and mods are welcome too.

Mine did that too. It was my coil pack. Check that also. Also, make sure all your hoses are connected properly and have no cracks or tears.

ive heard there's an MSD coilpack. Do you know how much it costs?

Yep theres an MSD. If your going to replace it then you might as well give the MSD a shot. Ive got it but I got it for performance reasons ... just figured it would be a bit more efficient ...

Think it was about $70 bucks. I didnt buy mine so Im not 100% positive but pretty sure. Also I know alot of the autoparts stores can check your coil as well. Its really simple to remove so this would probably be a good thing to do before you buy anything. Have you checked your plugs as well? Also you might try a little bit of injector cleaner through the tank. Check to see if you also have any oil in your plug wells, this caused me hesitation a long while back.
