i have a greddy profec B boost controller that has been on my car for a while and i just recently had a 1g motor swap with an evoIII16g turbo put on and now when i floor the car all the way...the boost controller beeps and blinks red which it has never done this before. Anyone know what the problem could be?

That is really weird. The only thing that I can think of is to make sure that something didn't get screwed up when you did the motor swap. Make sure that the solonoids in the engine bay didn't get damaged or wires didn't get pulled out during the swap. You may want to give Greddy a call about that one, I am sure that they could point you in the right direction.

I didn't even know that a Profec B could make a noise, that's new to me and I had one for two years on my Starion.

i didnt know it made noise either until it was put with the new motor. its weird cause noone else has had this problem.

Have you tried to contact Greddy? I had a problem with my FCD and HKS was really good at helping me. Check out Greddy's website for the tech line and see if they can tell you what that means when it does that. It sounds like something is either wrong internally with the main unit or the unit under the hood.

I meant to ask you, does the boost controller work? Does it let you build boost or does it keep it low? Also, is this the original profec or the second one?

it's a spec II isn't it

they have an overboost alarm where it turns red and chirps at you.

Greeedy probably has info on their website.
