Pre-Intercooler Black Box Damage

So i accidentally slid onto a curb and scraped a hole into the black box that precedes the intercooler. Is this fixable or should i just find a replacement? Is there any other way I could fashion something that could connect the 2 intercooler hoses where the black box should be? I have considering going to a hard intercooler pipe but if i can find a cheaper/quicker solution it would be preferred.

I don't have that on my 2Gs, must be a 2GA thing, where exactly does that bolt in relation to the intercooler.

It is an intercooler resonator according to ASA (MR188464). It is attached between the intercooler and lower intercooler pipe. Doesn't look to be of importance as the 2gb's didn't have one.

Ah, you still have stock piping, ok get a short pipe to put in between the two weaved hoses and just clamp them down on it.

Just go hard piping, they are some cheap kits
