What color is the wire for the power that goes to the radio on the stock harness? I thought it would be the black with white stripe but it isn't among the wires. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thanks! I tried to splice my AEM wideband into the red/black wire for power but it didn't work. Now the radio doesn't turn on and locks aren't power anymore. Whoops. What did I do? Is there a fuse that I might have blown?

I hate doing wiring/electrical...:banghead:

I'll check those tomorrow, I glanced at the radio fuse, it seemed ok. I'm going to check the Room fuse next and have a better look at the radio one.

Not looking forward to rewiring the fuel pump next week...

Seriously I don't see why everyone makes putting a wideband is sooooo difficult.
Every wire you need is in the rear o2 plug. All the colors match up. Problem solved.

Ya no joke gamble, you guys need to invest in a volt meter, don't just go plugging wires into random wires, TEST THEM.

I have a 1g. So no rear o2 plug.

I got it fixed. Found that the room fuse had blown, wired the wideband into the blue accessory wire so it turns on with the car, no problem. I'll wire it to dsmlink after I install a gm maf.

everyone always goes to the radio for power, i know when i bought my car there were like 2 wires runnin from the radio wire to power the lights for my boost guage and oil pressure so i got a wiring diagram and found the wires under the dash to power the lights on when u turn ## headlights/parkin lights on....i know wiring can be a pain but def invest in a volt meter and Fuse taps for easier installs for other things that need power
