power window door rattle

SO more or less since ive had my car (bought it in 2000), whenever i put my driver side window down wether its half way or all the way, it rattles alot. Hitting bumps, just driving or the stereo thumping it rattles, but now within the last month or so, the passenger side has started up. Anyone else have this problem? If so how did you fix it? Do i need to just remove the inner door panel and tighten some screws on the track slide or somtin?

Keep in mind that this isn't a permanent fix, there isn't one.

I tried that a long time ago because my windows rattle when I close the door but I had no luck with this temp fix. It doesn't even bother me anymore.

Mine rattle as well. I'll b etaking them apart this weekend to have a look. It annoying at times, but I've started to tune it out.

so i did the fix with my own twist, with closing the door forget it, it still sounds like ass when u close it, unless u close the door very easily, but with the windows down theres no more rattle. The little twist i added is, the part u take out with the plastic piece it says to squeeze back together, take a small peice of paper folded over like 2-3 times and slide it under one side of the plastic (be sure not to make it too thick as will result in a struggle to slide it back on), that will permanently hold it in place and u wont have to worry about it coming loose again. Im farely sure the defect with the windows is theres no upper support on the window inside the door, its only being held in at the bottom, so i think no matter what u do, it will always sound like that. Someone needs to find a fix for that . maybe someone can patent a fix and sell it to mitsubishi as a kit to sell to us, or just sell it to us and say F*CK mitsubishi and keep all the money. Maybe ill do it.
