Power Seat Connector

Hey guys, my car is down for a rebuild and I'm redoing both harnesses. I took the passenger seat out because it makes everything easier but the driver's seat won't come out because I can't get the last two nuts off of the back of the rail because the seat is all the way back and obviously won't move haha. I was just wondering if it was possible to get a 12v source and hook it up to the power wire for the seat's motor to get it to move forward. If so, what wire is it? The main engine harness is completely disconnected from the car EXCEPT for a wire running from behind the head unit's location to under the driver's seat. Is this the wire I need to tap into? And is there another way to remove it with having to take out the seat? Thanks guys

not sure how you figured this belonged in the tuning and engine management forum.... but if you have the battery and or a battery for a cordless power tool you could use that and run a couple of wires directly to the seat connector. it is just a 2 wire connector under the seat, red is pos and the green (i think) is the neg. just make sure you don’t put more that what your 12v car battery can put out, I.E. don’t use an 18v dewalt drill battery, and be careful not to short out something.

Yea sorry bout that haha if a mod wants to move this to the appropriate section then I'd appreciate it. But thanks man, I'll try that tomorrow I just don't know if I can reach that plug because its really tight under there but I'll check tomorrow .

i suppose if you wanted to you could power it from the fuse box. rather than the seat connector. is there a fuse dedicated for the power seats???
