this fall when i parked my car the day after i parked it in my garage for the winter i went out to start it but when i turned my key i lost all power in my car so i checked my battery then i checked my batter ground and starter ground as well as the starter all seemed well all my fuses and wires to my fuse box seemed in tact. Now I know there are a few other ground cables on the car can i get a few specific locations to them also if there is any other reason this would happen anyone could think of that would be great as well. Thanks in advance

Check your ground terminal connection on the battery. Take it off, clean the post and put it back on nice and snug. Most of the time when this happens it's because of a bad connection there. If you shake the wire there most of the time you'll regain your power but do what I said to prevent it from happening again. :thumb:

i thought that but my terminal is clean and so is the connector as well as i tightened it nice and snug but the problem persisted

ill double check it tho

also i have no issue with power as long as i dont try to start the car i can turn on the high beams and everything

throw a different battery in it from a different car known to be good, sometimes when a battery gets old it wont have any cranking power, you may be able to throw it on a battery charger and it will read good with a volt meter but as soon as a load is put on it, it craps out.

took the battery and had it load tested and it passed I can try when i get a day off work and let you all know but i need to put my starter back in first LOL

sounds like you have loose connection somewhere. I would start with the battery terminals and trace both your positive and negative cables back to where they mount, also make sure your cables are in good shape not all corroded inside them.
