i Have a 90 TSI AWD Talon and im getting a pretty harsh power loss after 4000 RPM. The car is completley stock, so i dont see how it could be fuel cut. im thinking its something with the ignition or injectors. if you have any detailed ideas on what it could be post it!!! thanks!

Stock hmm.... Do you have any loggin software? You could check to see if you are gettin spark through your wires.. check the gap of the SPlugs..check for boost leaks.

check for boost leaksI have fixed many problems by doing a simple boost leak test my 91 talon TSI had the same problem, after the boost leak test I found 10 leaks, after fixing all of my leaks I pi$$ ed of a 2002 Z28 when i pulled a car length a head of him in a race after that I had the same problem, another leak!!!!!!!(14 year old cars and 16lbs boost don't mix well) Anyway about your problem if the boost leak test comes up good 20psi for 30 seconds i would check the spark plug gap or replace them with NGK's, use the repair manual and test the coils its pretty easy, hope I helped some

Just wondering how often you are supposed to change your fuel filter? My plugs are gapped properly, they are brand new Ngk 6's. Brand new K&N filter, and brand new NGK plug wires. I have a massive crack in my exhaust manifold so that cant be helping. I need to check for boost leaks also. But knowing all that, i don't have any power past 5000 or so rpms. It basically hits a wall, or is that normal with a 14b on stock boost with no bcs restrictor? Thanks for the help.
