I am building a bit of a mutt and just wanted to get some opinions on power once this car is done. I have a 95 Talon AWD 5 Speed. The block is a rebuilt 1991 6 bolt with a 0.010 bore and a 97 head. Everything is pretty much stock as I want to work my way up with this car and not build a monster right off the bat. Really the only thing modified is the K+N air filter and an aftermarket downpipe that goes from 2.25 to 3 then meets the stock cat back and muffler etc. and I have aftermarket hard pipes with a BOV. Everything else is new or rebuilt but stock, stock T25, stock manifolds etc. I thought I read on here that the stock HP on this car was 216. Am I going to gain anything with this setup? I know I have a good platform for more power but is there much of a difference in power between the 6 and 7 bolts? Am I going to gain or even lose anything with the couple aftermarket things I have? Just curious, the engine and trans are going in this week and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for completion.

Yeah that's about what I was thinking 3.50 hp at the wheels. Should be able to get to work a lot faster than the horse and buggy I use now!!!!

WTF 350 and still on a t25? Maybe I misread your post but that doesn't sound like a 350awhp car to me, maybe I'm wrong?

Not 350...3.50! LOL

Oh, I feel stupid. I didn't read that as "how much of a gain", I read that as "how much will I be making?"... And when people starting saying "tree fiddy" and "3.50" I thought "There's no way in hell you'll be making 350 whp with that motor. :ohdamn: my bad.
