Even having the thermostat open at 140F, It is worthless, That's because the Fans will not be ON, Fans will kick after 190, so there is no point of the 140 Thermostat, (Unless you are running the fans ON full time).

The cross shaft seems pretty good condition and so with the gears.
This is the actual parts i need.
The bearing was completely gone. And Im sure there are some damages in between the bearings as well. but if anyone has this part only, instead of the whole diff, that would be great!

That's not a bearing, it's just a flat washer. At least it's supposed to be flat
If you can seperate the gear from the cover the surfaces can sometimes be resurfaced and reused if it's not too badly chewed up. I have a few different size flat washers at the shop if you need one.
BTW that washer goes bad easily, it's the reason Shep and TRE offer the Torrington bearing upgrade.

Does it look like be able to resurface? It seems like the washer chewed up and left materials in between the surface. Can you help me with this if you have time?

whoa that looks nasty! I can resurface the cover, but the gear doesn't look too good. Did you try chipping off the melted pieces? Sometimes they come off and leave a flat surface underneath. If not, you need a new side gear which may not be available anymore. The part number for the side gear kit is MD733338 and goes for $200 from Mitsubishiparts.net. Call the local Mitsu dealers and see if that part is still available. I'd also recommend that you send an email to Shep and TRE and see if they have any spare side gears.
