Where do you all have your gauges? Where can you pick up something to mount them where the a/c vent is on the dash?

You know if you shortened that shifter and swaped places with your guages and cd player you might actuly be able to change cd's easy in 1st 3rd and 5th gear

Im just guessing as I own a 1G buy I know if I were to put my cd player in the bottom bay even with a shorter shifter I still couldn't change cd's LOL.

Yeah, but he'd have to shift to read the gauges, then. Proof that DSMs are domestics.

I always wanted to take the passenger airbag out and install egt, volt, and boost gauge in a triangle, with AFC, Profec, + turbo timer in a stepped pattern all angled toward the driver.....but I dont know how or anyone that could set that up for me....so they are on the pillar...

The way I see it, seeing my gauges all the time is better than being able to switch CDs all the time. My deck plays MP3 CDs so I don't need to switch very often, anyways.
Thanks RedTurboEclipse, here's a closeup. The reason I have a GReddy and 2 autometers is the autometers are cheap, but the autometer EGT gauge doesn't read all that high (1600 F I think), so I just popped for the higher quality GReddy. Doesn't really bother me.
