hehe, i'd post pics but mines currently sitting around doing nothing just like yours

I have a OEM style VIS CF hood and it looks just likie that, other than the scoop of course. Looks good to me

I bought my hood and fenders here:
http://www.fatboygarage.com/
Why I think its fake..everywhere around me is new thing..Vinil..just Carbon vinyl..copy..vinyl looks like carbon.
wanna be sure if its right VIS Racing Just for myself...If not will take fly..and go to seller to US..Na:mad:
need check some pics of really Original VIS racing hood..check that badge on hood..details..
Thank you

I have the same exact hood......looks as if that was me opening it. Same packageing and everything. Mine looks good and is a ton lighter than my stock. The only thing wrong with it now is.......the little dents coming on it from the heat off the motor, I would suggest some kind of heat shield or put the stock heat barrier from the stock hood on it.

I'd recommend some hood pins. My Vis CF hood flew up and busted out my whole windshield and dented the roof on my old Eclipse. Funny thing was it did like $2500 damage to the car but the hood was still in good shape, minus where it cracked back by the hinges. Then again I was the idiot who didn't latch my hood all the way, it taught me the hard way. You probably wouldn't need hood pins really as long as your hood is all the way latched, but just in case.

sounds good to me..
BTW my hood weight 8kg..that is around 17lbs...really less then stock..(but this could be fiberglass with carbon vynil too...)

yeah..was thinking to install that hood pins..I don´t feel good when drive faster then 160km/h....around 96miles;)
Your hood didn´t had a latch......???
maybe wrong translate..sorry
THX:dsm:

Ya, I know the hole in the hood releases alot of heat, but after the first summer with my hood on...........I noticed little dents on the hood and was told it was from heat. So just to be on the safe side, I would put the stock hood heat shield under the VIS hood. Better safe than sorry.

It had a latch, but it wasn't all the way closed. I had just put in a MBC and was popping the hood like every 2 minutes to adjust it. I thought I might as well just not shut it all way since I had to open it so much. Not a good idea  .

That sucks! I don't think I'd have courage to buy another DSM after having one burn down. My wife is already complaining that I should have got an EVO MR instead of spending money on my Talon every month.

If you get EVO..you will not spend money to modyfication???I think for people like we are...its a vicious circle.;) You will never stop make something on your car..Because you wanna be better..faster:thumb:

Where did you get that rear bumper from?

its a custom job..and actually was on car, when bought. I don´t like so much, cus now wanna make new custom exhaust and wanna make muffler back in place where is Stock..know you understand;)
I was thinking make dual sound..two mufflers.especially with Bomex rear bumper looks really COOL:sneaky: But weight wins:thumb:
Iam european...talking about.. 99% of you Americans love 2GB Front bumper,NO widebody kits, some of you hate aftermarket body kits and single muffler in stock place...we Europeans like more changes...This is because in my country..here is not much tuners in that "true sense of lyric"95% of guys in my country make just body..new paint, some agressive body kit-custom made with fiberglass, nice rims, window tint. And then..if got some money, buy China Air filter, some new sparks, cut out CAT converter, buy new china shit muffler for loud sound..these people don´t know what wor"Tuning" Mean!
check this:http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/sho...ighlight=have+you+ever+seen+craziest+body+kit
made in CzechOMG
BTW wil change my rear bumper for your "stock"...can you send to Czech:sneaky: I think shipping around 700usd not impossible..great deal..what ya think? :thumb: or:notgood:
