Sup Everyone?

I'm having some electrical issues. Mainly my stereo. I noticed my wiring harness is all jacked up, so I fixed it with some electrical tape and the car seems to be mechanically sound, so I came here to ask for some help. The stereo is jacked up, in the sense that when pressing buttons like 1 2 3 and such, the stereo CPU thinks that I am pressing the next number over to the right, than what I am actually pressing. I'm going to get a new sound system so I thought that might fix the problem, and a wiring harness will be bought to install, but I wanted to know if someone experienced this issue before and had some background to share on it.

Thanks!! :hellyeah:

Has the factory head unit been reinstalled (I'm assuming there was an aftermarket one at some point because of the wiring harness) in the car or is there an aftermarket one in there?

Hmm, tbh I'm not too sure. There was obivously an AMP in it, because the wires are still chilling under the front driver seat. Excuse the n00b question, I don't have my manual on me, where exactly is the head unit? :hellyeah:

Ahh then yes Sir it has been. I will be getting a new one this week, maybe today. Do you think that will clear up the issue? Should I replace all wiring as well?:hellyeah:
