Hey guys, I need some help!

Well my car has been acting funny. Basically what is happening is when I drive, my BOV isn't blowing off. Now I know what your going to say, HEY this is the TURBO forums. Well I thought that maybe my BOV died on me, so I bought another one, installed it and it's doing the same thing! No air coming out of it whatsoever.

Basically what's happening is as boost builds and then when the throttle is released, you hear a weird sputter coming from the air filter, kinda as if air is being blown out through it. I have no clue. So basically I was wondering if anyone thinks my turbo is done or some other problem.

Hope this info is enough help.

Thanks in advance for any help guys, I'm stumped.

BTW the car starts fine, idles fine, and drives fine, but does this when it builds boost.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry for getting back to you late, busy weekend working, and I just got some time to take another look.

I took the intake off and there is no noticeable shaft play on my t-25, and I checked the line going from the BOV to the manifold and that seems ok. I did have a small leak that was 3 way t'd for my boost guage, but I pinched that off so the leak was gone as I used the throttle, but still nothing coming from the BOV.

Just still the same boost build, and stutter coming out of the air filter. I'm stumped.

FIXED!

I just fixed it YAY!

There was a leak in my boost guage line which is connected to the 3-way to from the BOV/manifold. I fixed it, and adjusted my BOV screw, and now it's blowing off as normal.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'm glad it's not a turbo problem.
