My car has sat for most of the winter. I got it out and ran it and the radiator light came on, so I checked it and it was low. Then in the next few days I start to notice coolant puddling on the ground underneath the timing belt area. and I found some dripping off of the two hoses that come around the drivers side of the bumper to infront of the radiator. My block is wet but no powerloss or other problems. I'm wondering is it possibly a head gasket starting to go?

it's on a 1990 gsx, 184,000 miles on it. Never had a problem before:dsm:

Well I do know time is coming up for a timing belt so the water pump could actually be the case. any thing I can do to check this?

Is your car overheating at all? Sounds to me like the water pump if you got a coolant leak coming from that side of the motor.

Well I'm pretty positive that it's my water pump now I got under it and traced it back up the side of the motor to under the water pump and it drips like a sieve. so I guess I'm going to kill too birds with one stone. And no my engine never showed signs of overheating.

Thanks guys for tiping off on the water pump I don't know why I never thought of that.
