Hey
I have a 91 eagle talon tsi awd. It has an ACT 2600 and ACT flywheel. Up until tonight it seemed like a strong clutch (has about 4 thousand miles on it). Well I lauched it and basically it slipped bad. Smelt slightly like burnt clutch nothing bad though. After that the clutch seemed to engage a little high from the floor than what it regularly did (might have been in my mind).
I stopped to wash my car and I washed the undercarriage and smoke came up from under the car and it smelt like burnt clutch really bad. Like I had been ridding the clutch. I drove it home and boosted it once to see if it was slipping and it seemed like it was.
My question is do you think my clutch is bad or is something causing the clutch to be "ridden" so to speak or what could it be.
