Hey guys. I was having trouble with my clutch before. My problem consisted of the clutch sticking to the floor. Well, I replaced the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. After that, I did not really have any problems. Until here lately. My clutch is starting to like to stick to the floor board.

It does not just fall to the floor, but when depreseed, sometimes it just does not want to come back up. Also, when I pump it at half travel, I can sometimes feel it trying to almost just suck or fall to the ground. When it does not stick and I push the clutch in, it sticks for maybe the first inch or so and then will come up. So, it is different what it does sometimes.

Since I have put a new master cylinder on it, along with slave cylinder, and PROPERLY bled both of them. I am starting to wonder if it is my clutch line. With it being super cold out, do you think it couldbe affecting my clutch at all? I am considering ordering a SS clutch line to replace it. Do you guys notice anything thing like this when its super cold out. Also, has anyone had clutch problems and then switch to the SS line and rid of problems

I have read 30+ post on clutch problems, I have searched. I want my answer to be my problem specific as most as possible.

Like I said, it does not do it all the time, but its starting to get irritating. Thanks in advance. I won't be on for a couple hours, I will be back on asap.

I had the same issue on my old laser where I bought a new non-oem master/slave cyl which worked great for the first few weeks but as the weeks went on, I started getting the symptoms as you mentioned and decided to get a full SS clutch line to see if it would change anything. No dice on it changing anything so after talking to a few DSM buds, they suggested to go OEM so I decided to bite the bullet and spend the $300 on a new OEM master/slave. After bleeding it all and such it was perfect. Don't know If you have OEM or not but thought I would give my story :p

Hmm.. Alright, thanks for the input.

I say replace the slave again and it will go away.

If I have replaced the slave before, why would it need replaced another time?

Have you tried adjusting the pedal?

No, I have not adjusted the pedal. Like I said, it does not do it all of the time. I went through the whole adjusting the pedal thing when I first was having problems. I finally have it dialed in where it was not giving me problem with the combination of free play and no slipping. And since then, the adjustment has not been touched. I do not believe it is an adjustment problem.

I see what you are saying, it is just that I have replaced it before. I don't know, it just gets kind of aggravating. But, there are only so many things that it can be.

I have done master cylinder and slave cylinder. This is why I am leaning towards buying a line. But, I do not see what is so different now. Maybe a blockage of sorts.

Any other input?

Thats probably one of the first things I would have tried. Replace the line and tell me how it goes.

Alright, I think I might have made some head way. Put my car up in the air, got my clutch to stick, andn noticed that my clutch fluid reservoir jumps up for the fill line to the cap. Does this mean indeed that I have a blockage in my clutch line somewhere? That is what I am thinking.

Well, after what I just found out, I am kinda thinking so too.
