porting ?

ok i have a 95 eagle talon i have the stock 2g head on it and i was wondering when porting the 2g exhaust manifold do i use the 2g exhaust gasket or do i still use the 1g compsit gasket. the head is unported but it will be ported in the future and trying to do it now while i have the engine out so all i ahve to do later is op the head back off and send it out any info would help please

Many guys port the manifolds. I would use whatever gasket you are planning on putting on the car. The part on the manifold that you need to worry about porting is the collector, you can take a lot of material out of there for some better flow to the turbo.
