A exhaust manifold is my next purchase, however I am curious as to which one is the best buy. I've heard the Evo III manifold will give me 20% more airflow, but I haven't heard the same for a port and polished manifold -- are they equal? Also, is the Evo III manifold a universal manifold for every turbo? If I get a Port and Polished 2G OEM Manifold, will every turbo fit?

just get your 2g manifold ported by slowboy or someone who has the tools to do it. As for every turbo fitting, only turbos with a mitsubishi exhaust housing with bolt up to it.

slowboy makes a cast manifolf of their own design larger than a ported evo for about the same cost

i'd opt to port the 2g mani rather than spend the money on a different mani. the ported 2g mani will be more than enough for most power applications. I doubt you'd notice a difference between either of the two.

with that said cheap > expensive.
