Well, at some point soon i plan on port-matching my intake manifold to my already outrageously ported head. My idea was to get some posterboard, put it against the head, and use an exacto knife to cut at the openings. The poster board would be taped to the head of course. then when it's all perfectly cut open (like a gasket) to just put the otherside against the IM and draw the lines where it needs to be opened to. (all while matching bolt holes to ensure fitment) does this sound like good idea? who else has done this, and how did you get a good fit?
Also, I may get a SMIM soon (if i can afford it- rather than porting my intake manifold), and wonder if i should just get the 1g, since my head is already ported out. thanks.
