Pocketlogger software tops out at 9500 rpms

My brother was helping me tune my car the other day and after a third gear pull the dumbass decided to power shift it but instead of going into fourth he went into second. . Talk about engine whine. The needle went well past the 9k mark and the logger only recorded as high as 9500 rpms. There doesn't seem to be any damage. Did I get lucky or am i gonna be hurtin soon?

your lucky... i would have went and gotten a lottery ticket that day... but seriously its happend to alot of us before or at least to me and ive had no ill effects because of it

I have revved past 9k in first on accident and nothing happend.
