Pocketlogger OBDII sample rate

I cant seem to get my sample rate past 9s/sec. Anyone with a 95 eclipse/talon get higher than that? If so what is your byte-timing settings?

Well that kinda sucks then. Since the 98+ get like 15+. Oh well. Guell i'll live with it until I can afford a dsmlink.

WOW!!!!! Have you went into the pocketlogger options part where they let you change your sample rate? It starts out really low unless you change it. I really don't think your car should ever log that low. I get my 95 TSI on 11 per sec w/ no data drops. And the laster 2gs get higher rates then that. I have to believe you have to just find the options screen in the pocketlogger program cause that is ridiculusly low.

I'm assuming when changing the rate you want no error counts? I just went outside to change the rate I have it at 2375, 15.

i just used the relatively self-calibrating feature with my 97. i usually get between 8 and 11

Damn... I'm with DeviceX, I can only get 4-5s/sec. I'm using v2.0 on a Palm m515 and have went through and optimized it for my ECU... is there another way to get more? It seems like even after optimizing it I still get 'errors'. Is this normal or could there be a problem?

Yea, I think that most people still get errors, but if it's only 1 per every 60 sec. then that seems to be within tolerances.

I have the obd2 from digital tuning and i can't get a sample rate higher than 6-7 samples per second. that is with the auto byte timing. how would I up that number?

Im sorry to say it but I was getting around 15 samples per second. Unfortunately I can't give you guys any info. I havent used pocketlogger in awhile because I broke a timing belt. Was fixing my car and mother nature dropped about a foot of snow in just two weeks. Theres no way I can get my car out of the backyard, that and the head still needs to go on.

I will say tho, use the auto feature to get it close to where you need it and then manually change things. I was seeing around 10 with the automated feature and I tweaked mine up to around 13-15.
