Where doyou have the wideband 02 sensor tapped intothe downpipe? Sorry, it's early, did you buy it new or used?
I run the same modeland when it gets to daylight I will check my hookup. I may have some instructions. Mark

yes it is in the dp. i bought it new. i relaly have no idea whats wrong. what did you do with the grey/white wires?

Grey and white are not used. I have them coiled and taped to the back of the unit which sits on the dash on the left. Just grounded the black to a screw under the dash on the bottom of the firewall behind the clutch pedal. I ran the red wire through the steering grommett and tapped itno the fuel relay on the firewall, the 3rd relay or the closst to te fender so it has power when the car is on. mrk

i seriously ihave no idea why it won't even light up. I have the o2 in, i checked the plug a few times they are securely connected. im seriously outo f ideas.

My friend had the same problem and it ended up being 2 things, 1 the display was bad and 2 it took a few minutes for the o2 sensor to heat up before he could get a reading.

You must have a good ground. Where did you ground the black wire? I found a screw just above the carpet behind the clutch pedal on my 1G. Then the red wire goes to a keyed on power source. I tapped into my fuelpressure solenoid which is one of the 3 solenoids to the right of the brake fluid reservoir on the firewall. Do you have a tester for power? One of those with a probe and a handle with a light in it that lights when you find power? If not then go buy one as you need one in your tools for working on cars. Turn the key the "on" position and then using the probe find a power source like I did. Be sure you have a good ground without paint. Once I found a good key on source I put a spade connecter on the end of the red wire and slid it into the place I found power. If you want you can call me and we can go through the set-up together over the phone. I do not have to wait for the sensor to warm up, it reads as soon as I start the car. Mark-315/253/6088. If you do not get me or the answering machine I am online so drop an email.
