2G plugs white and ashy but exhaust smelling rich.

I have researched this all afternoon but no answers that apply to me. All stock motor, stock turbo. I replaced fuel filter. I will be doing blt and check for vacuum leaks as soon as i can. Car seems to be bogging as well. Sometimes will only go up to 4lbs boost. Other times will boost normal. I replaced pcv valve, plugs, wires, injector rings lower and upper. New o2 sensors, ecu good. Any thoughts concerning this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Boost leak sounds about right. Check for exhaust leaks as well, one that got me was the turbo to manifold metal gasket. I couldn't hear it but I could feel the air leaking through. And check for shaft play on the turbo. Usually white on the plugs means you are running lean.

I have the bpr6's in there gapped perfectly so that is ruled out. I put these in first thing because i was thinking same as you. But no help.

Ive got a lil shaft play but nothing major. Also if anyone has a good t25 let me know i need one. I just woke up and gonna do some checks. How do i check for exhaust leaks? Havent done that before.

When driving my vacuum on boost gauge looks totally normal. Not sure if i can still have a undetected vac leak or not. Seems like the engine running hot as well.

Ok i just noticed my upper radiator hose has a tiny leak. The coolant levels are still normal. Could a faulty thermostat be causing this problem? Car has never overheated and gauge always reads normal. Sounds like a noob question but im learning as i go here. Fpr is good no gas smell. Engine sounds great as well.
