The install kit I ordered from the ************* came with a brass plug for the water hole.. however it is slightly bigger than the size that should fit.. here is a picture to show the difference

Picture is way to big please resize-L2RTSiAWD

I really want to finish my install ASAP.. can this type of bolt be purchased at home depot or similar hardware store? or kragens, etc?
thanks

just take the banjo bolt to the hardware store and find out the thread size and pitch. Then buy another bolt with the same thread and pitch and put it on.

thanks for the reply 1fast97gsx

i went to home depot today and looked and there was nothing in the "nuts and bolts" section.. the bolt didn't even thread into any of those holes to test out what size bolt u have if u bring it in..

but I remember reading another post where somebody said they used the oil drain plug.. which is perfect.. i went to satan and purchased one with washer.. total of $8 damn what a rip.. but it fit perfect.. so if anybody is looking for the plug u can get that..

this was the picture that was removed because dsmtuners users still run 640 x 480 desktop resolution :p

glad you got it figured out ... I should have mentioned that home depot sucks and doesn't have a good metric selection. Nice to know the oil plug works :thumb:

sorry to read this thread so late.
You can get this drain plug from any auto parts store(advance, auto zone, etc) for less than $2.00
While you're there, you can get a new copper crush washer for it also.
