So i picked up the rest of my interior last night. Well after I got what I needed, the seller also had a greddy turbo timer he was removing from the car. He literally removed it and handed it to me for good price. Now his car is a gsx 2g, and mine is a 2g tsi, so it should just be plug in play for both vehicals. He said that once I remove the interior pieces to get to the igniiton plugs, I will see the plug I need to just "plug in play". Now Im not seeing anywhere around my ignition or collumn that matches this greddy TT harness plug. What I have is a 3 way plug. Does anyone have a dummy pic of the install? There are a billion threads on installing a TT, but im a visual learner

this is what he unplugged and handed to me along with another wire he didnt use which is a kill switch.

You'll need the wire that Jmonet1620 quoted to install it then (in the pics on the thread I showed you, it's the plug with blue ends, which is a cable plugged in series with the existing ignition cable and give you the connections you need for a plug-and-play). You can always splice wires, but I tend not to do that since it's the ignition. He should have just given it to you as he doesn't need it if he took it out.

blah ok thanks man, im just going to put all my pieces back together until i get correct plug. im not tapping into anything like you said

What's the update on this situation? I have the exact TT and can provide pics and show you how I did mine. Really easy install.
