Pls Help me!!

Ok i have a 92 tsi awd... My mods wont make a difference for my question...i finally got around to doin a test for boost leaks...i found a small one behind egr and fixed that....before that i could only seem to get 2-3 psi on my gauge, i was pumpin till blue in the face ....i fixed that one and now i can get 5psi on gauge but hear a big leak down by the turbo!!! :thumbdown .... what the heck can leak there???is there a gasket between the intake and exhaust side of turbo??? pls help me...not to sure why the turbo can be leakin....and i mean it is bad.....you can hear it really loud....the most i can pump up is to 5psi and i am given her sh$t with the shwinn bike pump...pls...

There is an o-ring that seals the compressor housing to the turbo. Also check the gasket on the turbo outlet. Is that the info you were looking for?

-Use a air compressor!!! a bicycle won't only work on small leak, if you use an air compressor, you'll know where on the turbo is the air leaking from.

thanx guys, will look into it better, will try a compressor....ummm is it worth takin the 14b apart and fixin it, or should i just upgrade now.....the turbo has 108k miles on it....is it worth fixin????????????????? pls... if not then i will go and buy a small 16g....pls let me know if it is worth puttin time into a miled out turbo......tnx
