hi- i have a 97 gs and i have plans on lowering it. my problem is,,even after reading almost every thread about suspension, i dont know what set up to go with. im in it for mainly looks, but i want to do it the right way. could i possibly get springs, shocks and camber kits for around $600 or $700?? i would much like to get coilovers so i can adjust my ride height. this is my daily driver, so i need to have it up off the road when snow gets here. please, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. id like to order this stuff this weekend...thanx  :dsm:

tein system for our cars with tuned dampers and ride height adjustable springs. It will help handling and if you choose you can lower it to the ground and break the undercarage. Its 700 so that would be your budget right there.

they are better then the s tech springs and since they are tuned they get a much better rating then normal tein springs. Obviously not as good as their higher end stuff but still good. If you dont mind have no adjustability in height, a cheaper alternative would be eibach prokit or h and r oe sport with gr2's. With the money left over you can get sway bars and handeling would be VERY much improved and the ride would be close to stock, more so then with the tein system. Since the prokit and kyb gr2's are basically tuned for the same type of application. Its up to you goodluck

ok cool..thanx. im gonna make some phone calls i think this weekend and get some prices. the only thing thats holding me back from gettin any eibachs, is i wouldnt be able to adjust the height, and i think id be happier if i could adjust. id end up having to switch bak to stock once winter comes around if i got a pro or sport kit and i have no idea how to install springs, shocks or camber kits. would suk to have to keep takin my car bak to the shop everytime the seasons change, anyways, thanx again for your help!!!! and im gonna ask aboout the "tein system" that you mentioned. anyone else with anymore help would be much appreciated!!
